Veteran actor, playwright and author Dr John Kani have been named one of the cast members for Murder Mystery 2 on Netflix. In the sequel, he will be playing the role of Colonel Ulenga.

Murder Mystery is a sequel on Netflix in the comedic and mystery genre. Murder Mystery was written by James Vanderbilt and is directed by the world-famous Kyle Newacheck. Scenes of the sequel will be shot in Paris and the Caribean. Starring on Murder Mystery 2 will be Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, Dr John Kani, Mark Strong, Annie Mumolo, Enrique Arce, Tony Goldwyn and many more.
John Kani’s acting skills and humour
John Kani has been acting since the year 1978. He’s performed comedy, action, mysterious, dangerous and wise roles. In 2019, he was part of The Lion King’s remake cast alongside Beyonce Knowles. When asked why he didn’t take a picture with Beyonce in an interview like the other cast members, he said Beyonce didn’t ask to take a picture with him. A lot of people chuckled over that.
Most notable roles
Dr John Kani played T’Chaka, father of T’Chala, on the Marvel Universe movies like Black Panther and Captain America: Civil War. As T’Chaka, he performed stunts when there was an explosion, and he passed away.
In Black Panther, he touched the hearts of so many people in the world. His role in the movie was deceased but very much alive in the ancestral land. A fun fact about this is that he acted alongside his son Athandwa Kani in the film. In the 2019 Lion King remake, he voices the famous role of Rafiki. Now, he will be playing Colonel Ulenga in Murder Mystery 2
Murder Mystery’s initial Netflix release got a lot of viewers but awful reviews. Due to the many people who tuned in, Netflix returned to the streaming platform. Murder Mystery 2’s release date is not known yet.
