Yesterday we saw Babekazi and Mbatha break into Nkunzi’s safe. It was all jubilation until they realised that the money was short R300,000. Babekazi is now planning a second heist to cover the R800,000 she owes the insurance money.
Today Nkunzi vows to find the person who broke into his office and make them pay.
Still, with Nkunzi, he brought Sambulo to live with them yesterday, and Sbonelo lost it. Sambulo is still looking for Nomzamo, and he still suspects Sbonelo. Today Sambulo meets with the police yet again. Seen sitting with Mondli, they are probably talking about his assault incident and, of course, Nomzamo.
Njeza is still recovering from the thorough beating he took on Friday, and Nonka wants to help him. He is now looking to join the Khuluma Ndoda program spearheaded by the late Patrick Shai. Njeza believes what’s happening to him is karma because of what he did to Nosipho. He truly believes he deserves this. He did, however, mention that he is scared he might not come out alive.
Nonka is devastated at Njezas state in prison, and today Madongwe tries to comfort her and make her believe that Njeza will come home. Hopefully, Njeza finds peace in the new Khuluma Ndoda initiative and can stay away from the trouble he has managed to attract in jail. He mentioned that his assaulters could be hired by someone to torture him.
Babekazi and Mbatha have been hiding since Friday. They have constantly been looking over their shoulders since they stole the safe. Today they will be running from the insurance detective, and he has been looking for Babekazi for days now. These two are also very scared of Nkunzi, who might come knocking at their door very soon.
There is no telling how far Nkunzi is willing to recover his money. In yesterday’s episode, he came to look for Babekazi, but Mbatha hid her from him.
