Lebo Kheswa has been arrested now, and she’s in police custody at Midrand Police station. She was arrested after vandalizing a bakery and verbally assaulting the people inside. According to South African law, the malicious damage to property charge can cost a convict five years of imprisonment. Although most people don’t get arrested, they can pay a fine.
Possible reasons why she was angry
Lebo is a human rights activist, and it is possible that she was provoked. She could’ve been angry due to a personal fight with one of the employees or a fight with the owner. Why she got so angry and violent is still a mystery.
