Check out some of the celebrities we haven’t seen on our screens in a long time and what they are up to.
1. Sidwell Sipho Ngwenya
Sipho Ngwenya was born in 1982 on the 25th of July, is well known for the role he played on Generations, from 2006 to 2010, we haven’t seen him since then; however, Sipho is now behind the scenes producing music and shows, and he mentions in his Instagram bio that he is now a retired actor. He recently shared pictures of him and his wife, whom he married in 2020 and judging from those pictures, and the man is doing just fine.
2. Chommee
Chommee’s real name is Thulisile Madihlaba? Chommee is a dancer, choreographer and musician, popularly from South Africa. She had a hit single called “Jaiva sexy, ” which took her to the stars. Chommee worked under the 999 studios, and she also dated Arthur Mafukate, the owner of the stable. HiShe has since disappeared from our screen, and we are not even that active in social media. We hope she is alright wherever she is.
3. Tsholofelo Maseko
Tsholofelo Maseko launched into our screens as a television presenter on a show known as Mzansi insider, and she also presented for a show called seskhona. She hasn’t shown her face on our screen in a while, but she is still a part of the entertainment industry playing the characters of Zuzu and Basma on the popular children show Takalani Sesame.
4. Paul Mnisi
Remember him? He used to be on Yfm presenting a show called Groove Kamikaze with Unathi Nkayi, and they introduced us to Mzekezeke. Rudeboy Paul as he was known, made an excellent name for himself and appeared in Jam Alley as well. He also released an album. He just disappeared from our screens, and we haven’t heard much from him.

5. Mzambiya
Mzambiya, real name Nkosinathi Zwane was a child kwaito star. He was discovered in 2000, born in Zola Soweto on 21st May 2021. Mzambiya was found when he was only 11 years old by Nimrod Nkosi. He released hit singles like “k’mele senzeni”. Mzambiya joined Jika majika for two seasons on SABC1 about a dance competition.
In 2020 he attempted to resurrect his music career and released Tot tot tot with Bulldogz Records. The record was produced by the renowned producer Dj Cleo. Mzambiya recently changed his name to Zikode, a clan name to Zwane, because he says he is now a grown man.
