Lebohang Msiza is joining the star-studded cast of the romantic drama series that starts on 7 January called Entangled. The Queen actor is joining the likes of Vuyo Dabula, Phuti Khomo, Mpho Modikoane and Vuyo Ngcukana, who are the main characters in the series.
The storyline in the drama series will be about a woman called Sharon who has a perfect life. Her ex, however, thinks that it is the ideal time to come back and try to destroy everything that she would have worked hard for. Phuti Khomo will play Sharon. Lebohang went against his parent’s wishes for him when he started acting. The actor’s parents wanted him to go to University, and he even enrolled for Bcomm in Accounting. While he was at varsity, he felt like he was suffocating because he hated that career path, so he dropped the course. He later spent years working and praying to land a significant television show role. His answer came when he landed the role of Nkosana in Lithapo. His character was the opposite of his real-life character as Nkosana had a massive sense of entitlement while Lebohang walked 33minutes to audition for that role.
Recently he has been winning the hearts of many South Africans with his role in The Queen, playing Akhona’s love interest. His character is that of a goal-getter and a man from a wealthy family who is not used to hearing the word no. Many fans of the show are invested in Clive and Akhona’s relationship. From being a college dropout who worked in a barbershop to being a star in some of Mzansi’s most loved male celebrities, Lebohang has come a long way.
