Uzalo actor Nyawo takes on Wallet from Skeem Saam at the National Spelling Bee competition
Soapie fans are set to witness one of the epic events on Uzalo as Detective Nyawo takes on Ntate Wallet from Skeem Saam at the National Spelling Bee competition. The two walking dictionaries are going head to head at the coveted completion. Basking in glory after winning the KwaMashu Talent Show and walking away with R50 000 competition prize money, Nyawo (Cebo Mthembu) trended on social media and received an invitation from the National Spelling Bee Competition.
Despite splitting from the police group to participate on his own at the KwaMashu Talent Show, Nyawo realizes that to stand a chance at National Bee Competition, teamwork is the way to go. With the help of Officer Lily Dongwe and other police officers, Nyawo gets enough preparation for the spelling completion.
When will Nyawo and Wallet compete at National Bee Competition?
Uzalo teasers dated 23 December 2021 hint at the head to head competition between Nyawo and Skeem Saam poet Wallet and send Mzansi into a frenzy.

Wallet on Skeeem Saam
Actor Molefi Monaisa (47) plays a briefcase-carrying, tea-drinking Wallet who perfected his English accent. Having spent a significant part of his life travelling across the globe and spending nine years in England, actor and writer Wallet believes he is a white man trapped in black skin. Despite being well-travelled and well-read, Wallet squandered all his wealth and returned to Turfloop.
Nyawo on Uzalo
Having started as an extra, Cebo Mthembu forced the Uzalo scriptwriters to offer him a storyline through meticulous performances. Famous for dropping English jargon, Nyawo earned himself a nickname ‘Mr Oxford’.
Fans are set to witness if Nyawo’s vocabulary does exist at the National Spelling Bee when he faces Wallet from Skeem Saam.
