Ndivhudzannyi Makhadzi Ralivhona, whom we know as our beloved national treasure, Makhadzi launches her Kokovha sneakers in collaboration with the Kicks Sportswear deal R120 000 000 deal, and that’s huge. Fans congratulated her on her Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms and asked her to release more merchandise like socks, tracksuits, t-shirts and leggings. Fans also tagged their loved ones and asked if they would like them to buy the shoes.

Makhadzi’s brief history
The star grew up in a village in Limpopo Province; when she grew older, she fell in love with music and performing. Her humble beginnings did not stop her from pursuing her dreams. Instead of having self-pity, she decided to start performing at taxi ranks to earn money and grow as an artist. So far, she’s managed to release four studio albums the first one was Shumela Venda in 2018. The following year she released the album Matorokisi, the third album was Kokova released in 2020, and this year, the singer and dancer released the African queen album.
Makhadzi’s success.
During her musical career, she’s managed to work with some pretty big names like Master KG, Dj Tira, Zanda Zakuza and many more. Makhadzi won the 2021 AFRIMMA Award for the Best Artist, Duo or Group. On the 7th of December 2021, the Swedish music streaming service Spotify announced Makhadzi to be the most streamed female artist in South Africa. This year the artist purchased herself a home in Sandton, and the property is her fourth mansion.
The Kokovha Sneaker
The Kokovha sneakers cost R900 and can be purchased at the Kick Sportswear website. So far, the reception of the sneaker range with bright colours inspired by Makhadzi’s Venda culture has been excellent. Although fans excited her in her comment sections, Makhadzi remained humble and thanked them gracefully. That’s one of the reasons why Makhadzi is supported so much; she’s immensely talented yet so breathtakingly humble and kind. The sneaker range is a limited edition, but it’s predicted to sell out soon.
