Actress Ditebogo Ledwaba is famous for playing the role of Mbali on Generations The Legacy. The Mbali character on Generations is a school going teen adopted in the Makhafola family by legal guardians Lucy Diale – Makhafola and husband Mrekza. She joined Mamsonto’s orphanage at a tender age; despite efforts by Lucy and her husband to protect Mbali, she once found herself in the hands of her actual relatives.
Mbali was married to an older man by her aunt in a widespread case of early childhood marriages letter to be rescued by her guardians.

Before the Generations The Legacy role, Ditebogo Ledwaba played a few roles; in 2018, she debuted on television when she played Umuhoza on Beautifully Broken. She also bagged the Lesesdi role on Mnet’s Lioness.
The 22-year-old actress is studying for a Degree in Drama and Film production; she aspires to be a film director. Off the screen, she is friends with fellow Generations The Legacy cast member Lerato Walaza who plays the role of Melokuhle.
She revealed that she was star-struck when she first met the Generations cast, playing alongside seasoned actors like Vusi Kunene, Letoya Makhene, and Ronnie Nyakale gave her goosebumps.
