For the first time in the talent show’s history, Idols SA top 3 contestants are all female. Idols SA season 17 is going to end with a female winner.
S’22Kile, Berry and Karabo made it to the finale after their polished performances had over 8 million votes. During the episode, viewers were treated with performances from Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Ayanda Ntanzi and Lebo Sekgobela, who joined the Top three contestants on stage as they performed their first rounds.
Season 17 is not Berry’s first attempt at Idols SA, and she previously failed to make it to the open auditions stage. She sang Basuka by Ayanda Ntanzi in an electric performance.
