This week we see a lot of drama on Imbewu. the question on everyone’s mind is: Are Fikile and Nkululeko siblings?
Fikile and Nkululeko’s relationship
The relationship between Fikile and Nkululeko has been one faced with a lot of challenges. When Fikile entered Nkululeko’s life he was engaged to Zethu. The chemistry between Nkululeko and Fikile was undeniable and even though they tried to avoid it and even Zethu tried to save her romance with Nkululeko by tracking down Fikile’s ex they ended up together. Fikile gives a whole new meaning to the term ride or die. She has stood by her man through everything. From baby mama drama to cheating scandals. This time they are going to face a challenge that may end their relationship for good.
After Fikile’s mom, Nompi resurfaces in her life she attends her daughter’s birthday party. Despite having turned down Buhle’s invite, Nompi will attend her estranged daughter’s party. Nompi and Fikile had not spoken in years because they had cut each other off. When Nompi will get to meet Nkululeko and realise that he is a Bhengu it will make her try to stop the two from getting married.
Predictions
Nompi may tell Nkululeko that the ancestors will not allow him to marry Fikile and we predict that may be because of one of these reasons:
- Fikile is related to Nkululeko and is a Bhengu too
- There is an oath that Fikile’s mother is aware of between the ancestors that don’t allow Fikile to get married
- Fikile can not have children and she is not aware of it
We all know that Nokuzola who is married to Zithulele is pregnant with a child that may be Nkululeko’s. Is this the writers’ way of wanting Nokuzola and Nkululeko to end up together? We will only find out soon enough on Imbewu-The Seed.
