No doubt Scandal hasn’t been the same with him. A few months after his shocking exit etvs drama series Scandal is still finding it hard to find a replacement.
A few weeks ago, MacDonald Loyiso was rumoured to join the drama series as Romeo Medupe replacement, but nothing materialised seems as if they were mere rumours.
We can all agree that Hungani Ndlovu’s exit from Scandal took Mzansi by surprise, and many are still connecting the dots in regards to his exit. The celebrated Hungani Ndlovu, who played Romeo Medupe on etv’s hit soapie Scandal, shocked everyone with his resignation.
No doubt that Romeo was one of the most followed star actors on the hit soapie. Since his exit, viewership numbers are said to have dropped dramatically. Also, his exit marked the mass exodus of seasoned actors. The celebrated actor’s exit has left Mzansi divided. Rumour has it that his exit comes in the backdrop of a fallout with the showrunners.
However, in the wake of his exit, Scandal’s marketing manager Makatseng Mokomoe confirmed Ndlovu resigned from the soapie. We can all agree that Romeo had somehow risen to be a mastermind planner and schemer in Scandal.

Rumour mill had it also that Hungani Ndlovu exit from Scandal came after he was fingered to be part of Black-ish cast. This came after Kenya Barris, one of the creators of Black-ish confirmed their desire to work with Ndlovu.
Despite all being said, several questions have been asked about where did the actor disappear to. Since his exit, he hasn’t shown up in any drama series despite being linked to several gigs.
