No doubt she is one of Mzansi’s finest. Her unmatched talent has been capped with accolades. Katlego Danke is a South African actress, radio DJ and TV presenter best known as Thathi on Gomora.
The award-winning actress is also best known as Dineo Mashaba on the old Generations. However, her Dineo Mahaba fame seems to be fizzling out as she is nailing it better as Thathi on Gomora.
Her sexiness and beauty have most wondering what tickles her fancy. A few weeks ago, she won big when she walked away as one of the winners at the Annual Royal Soapie Awards. Here are some of the awards she has managed to cap her career with in recent years.

However, her thrust into the limelight came when she bagged a role on Backstage in 2002. However, her flair sees her bagging roles in Isidingo and Generations before casting on Gomora.
With her acting career spanning for decades, she has fast become one of Mzansi’s celebrated star actresses, joining the likes of Connie Chiume, Connie Ferguson and Leleti Khumalo.
Despite Gomora being one of the low budget drama series in Mzansi, the showrunners have managed to handsomely pay their lead actors. In recent years the drama series has managed to topple Ferguson productions as the most-watched drama series on Mzansi Magic.
Last year the drama series won big when its cast walked away with almost every award, with Sannach Mchunu Zodwa and Teddy winning big. It has become a well-known fact that one is paid based on experience, time on scenes and craft competence.
It has been revealed that for her Thathi role, Katlego Danke is paid a whopping R85 000 per month. We can all agree that it’s hard to lure her from Gomora, given that she is one of the most paid star actresses in Mzansi. Not so long ago, it was rumoured that Gomora revised its salaries after becoming one of Mzansi’s soapie powerhouses.
