Boity needs plastic surgery to fix her face after a brawl with Bujy Bikwa
TV personality Boity has revealed that she has to go through plastic surgery to fix her face. Boity indicated that going for plastic surgery is the only way to fix her face, given her line of profession after her brawl with Bujy Bikwa.
Rumour has it that Radio Personality Bikwa allegedly threw a bottle of alcohol at Thulo and cut her on the face during an argument. The incident happened whilst they were out at the Courtyard Hotel.
However, in a police statement, Boity says she was having drinks with friends when they started debating about ancestors.
According to Boity, things went out of hand when Bikwa grabbed a glass and threw it at her. In the backdrop of the incident, Thulo revealed that she was still in shock and traumatized by the ordeal.
According to Thulo, the topic was about ancestors and traditional healers. “I could tell he was becoming agitated, but I did not think he would take it that far,” she said.
“Before he attacked me, he said ‘let’s see if your ancestors will protect you’ and proceeded to throw a glass on my face,” she said, adding that she started bleeding immediately after he threw it at her.
“I am in a bad place emotionally. I keep replaying this in my mind. Not only do I have to deal with the mental effects of his actions, I now have to see a plastic surgeon to see what can be done about the scars.”

The glass hit her on her forehead and her lips. Thulo said she had insured her face a while back for an amount she declined to disclose.
“In my line of work, I can’t afford to have a scar. That’s why I had the foresight to take out insurance for things like this,” she said.
However, on the other hand, things are not looking ok for Zimbabwean-born South African media personality Bujy Bikwa reportedly spent the weekend behind bars.
However, a local publication reported that Bujy Bikwa spent the weekend behind bars after allegedly assaulted media personality Boity Thulo. Bikwa has been charged with intent to cause bodily harm after the alleged “attack” at the Courtyard Hotel opposite the Mall of Africa in Midrand, Gauteng.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane said that the matter would return to court on Wednesday, 6 October.
“(The case was) postponed to Wednesday,” said Mjonondwane to City Press.
