List of Entertainers set to perform at the annual SAMA’s 27 awards
Not so long ago the SAMA’s made all sorts of headlines after some big names were not nominated. A few weeks later the SAMA’s have yet again sparked a debate. This year’s annual awards will not feature some of Soth Africa’s finest despite making all sorts of headlines not only in Mzansi but the world at large.
No doubt the SAMAs27 is fast approaching and Bontle Modiselle and Lawrence Maleka are expecting to host the upcoming show. However, the list of entertainers who are set to perform has since been confirmed by the showrunners. The awards are slated for July 30 and organisers have promised a show to remember.
Star performers such as Sjava, Boity, Big Zulu, Riky Rick, Intaba Yase Dubai are slated to perform at the popular award ceremony. Rumour has it that Big Zulu, Riky Rick and Intaba Yase Dubai will headline the performances of the awards. No doubt their smash hit Imali eningi made all sorts of headlines.
Sjava is no stranger to the SAMA stage, he has previously performed at the awards. However, in the recent awards, he has won big. He has a total of four SAMAs. He has released new music, on his project Umsebenzi, which has been highly successful and reached over 5 million streams.

The award-winning rapper is also up for an award as he has been nominated in the following categories he Best African Adult Contemporary Album and Best Produced Album Of The Year.
In a tweet, the SAMA’s revealed their top performers of this year awards. Big names such as Makhadzi, Cassper Nyovest, Master KG were snubbed. However, it was recently reported that “The SAMAs fails to recognize Limpopo”: Mzansi fumes over Makhadzi snub.
Cassper Nyovest was snubbed too. Kelly Khumalo recently told the organisers of the awards to pull her songs out of the awards after she felt that she deserved more and the awards were biased as they left out many top performers who raised the bar for Mzansi across the continent.
