‘We have lost our jobs and he is worried about his iPad’, local rapper disses President Cyril Ramaphosa
The South African President Cyril Ramaphosa seems to be under fire from all angles. First it was the EFF leader Julius Malema and now rappers are firing shots and dissing the man. A video of a rapper rapping about the President’s failures has flooded social media. The unknown rapper says a lot and people seem to agree with him.
Using the beat ad rhythm from the song Mocking Bird by Eminem, the local rapper has a lot to say. He first complains about employment and poverty hitting mostly black people in South Africa. The rapper also touches on the issues of inequality in South Africa.
This comes after the Phoenix massacre which the authorities seem to be ignoring after numerous complaints by the black majority. Many are said to have been killed by Indians from Phoenix and many are posting bodies of their loved one which have been recovered from Phoenix. The rapper says something that many are shocked to hear. He says that The President Cyril Ramaphosa is siding with white people and letting his own race suffer and die in South Africa.
