Amabutho floods KwaDakwadunuse homestead to reinforce MK vets
It seems Former President Jacob Zuma will not go down without a fight. Thousands of Amabutho have flooded the KwaDakwadunuse homestead to reinforce MK vets who are offering Zuma protection after his 15-month sentence.
With no room to manoeuvre and former president Jacob Zuma racing against time, amabutho has been unleashed at the KwaDakwadunuse homestead to assist the ex-MK soldiers who are on guard at the eNkandla homestead to prevent police from arresting Zuma.
The strong crowd comprising izindunas and traditional chiefs from different villages in KwaZulu-Natal on Thursday vowed that blood will be spilt should police make any attempts to arrest the former statesman.
“We are here as amabutho to join the soldiers of MK as we prepare for the war. Honestly, we are saying that there will be no peace in South Africa should anyone try to arrest uMsholozi (Zuma). We are organizing amabutho in various hostels to come and join us in the fight. But I can assure you that blood will be shed,” said Dumisani Zuma, speaking on behalf of amabutho. During the gathering, guns were also pulled out by some of the amabutho and the ANC supporters in the crowd.

Zuma has until Sunday to present himself to the nearest police station to effectively begin serving his 15 months sentence. He was found guilty of contempt of court by the Constitutional Court on Tuesday relating to his failure to appear at the Zondo commission probing allegations of state capture.
Zuma was fingered by witnesses at the commission as being at the centre of the state capture project. During the said looting of state funds, Zuma was the country’s number one.
The commission wanted his side of the story. Throngs of ANC supporters clad in party regalia also converged at Zuma’s homestead to offer support to the man they call the father of radical economic transformation.
“Zuma is a 79-year-old who has fought gallantly for the freedom that many in this country enjoy. We will never allow him to be humiliated. Before they can arrest president Zuma, they must kill all of us,” said Ntando Khuzwayo, speaking on behalf of the ANC regions.
