With etv’s Rhythm City coming to an end after years of absolute entertainment a new fashion drama series is slated to replace one of the most followed drama series in Mzansi. Yes, the long wait is almost over House of Zwide will soon be beaming on our screens.
Well of interest is the cast. The new drama series boasts around with a host of seasoned actors and amongst them is Generations firebrand Jack Mabaso and Uzalo star actor Khanya Dladla best known as GC.
No doubt Dladla is winning big. He is that star actor we all love to hate. Not so long ago he parted ways with Uzalo barely a few weeks after his much-talked-about return. In the wake of his exit, he has bagged a lead role on House of Zwide. The star made the news known through his Instagram.

The new drama series is going to feature a star-studded cast and Khaya can’t wait to bring his A-game to the table. The show is going to be replacing Rhythm City on etv and the fans can’t wait to see their favourite on-screen.
Taking to social media, the actor posted a teaser of his character and captioned it: “Call me old FASHION but @etvonline is about to take SA television a few notches up.”
However, it was recently reported that Uzalo firebrand Khaya Dladla (GC) fired again. It seems as if Uzalo woes are far from over and it’s now embarrassing. No doubt the mass exodus of actors of late tells a lot. In the wake of his much-talked-about return, it seems as if GC has been axed again after featuring on few episodes.
As of now little is known about his exit but sources close to the showrunners have confirmed the exit. When the character of GC, played by actor Khaya Dladla, came back to Uzalo viewers had different reactions.
While some were happy, others were not satisfied with his storyline. Well, Khaya has allegedly been snubbed by Uzalo again. In 2019, the soapie snubbed and told him he’d be called back when he was needed.
