Video: Kaizer Chiefs captain Bernard Parker swears at Samir Nurkovic
No doubt there is a lot happening in the Kaizer Chief camp and of late players and the coaching staff have since taken their differences to the public. The trouble in the Kaizer Chiefs camp has been laid bare by the tiff between Bernard Parker and Samir Nurkovic.
In a video, which has since gone viral, Parker could be seen and heard hurling insults at Nurkovic in their league match against Swallows at FNB Stadium on Wednesday.
It appears the free-kick was the source of the verbal sparring. Parker was seen pointing to the fellow striker.“Are you talking to me… Mother&$#%ker”. To watch the video you can follow the link https://twitter.com/i/status/.
The club is yet to respond to the incident, but that hasn’t stopped the big debate on social media among the frustrated fans. Many have slammed Parker for his behaviour. Amakhosi are in the 10th spot with 30 points, following their 1-1 draw with Swallows.
However, it was recently reported that Hugo Broos appointed as Bafana Bafana Head Coach. The South African Football Association (Safa) has confirmed the appointment of Belgian Hugo Broos as the new Bafana Bafana head coach on Wednesday at SAFA house.

Broos is no stranger on the continent and led Cameroon to Afcon success in Gabon in 2017 when they beat Egypt 2-1 in the final at the Stade de l’Amitié in Libreville. The 69-year-old has had an extensive coaching career spanning all of 31 years.
During that time he has notably coached the likes of Belgian League giants Club Brugge, R.S.C Anderlecht as well as K.R.C Genk. He also has previous experience on the African continent with Algerian sides JS Kabyile and NA Hussein Dey.
He then picked up his first international football team job with Cameroon from 2016-2017, a period in which he led the Indomitable Lions to an Afcon title as well as World Cup Finals appearance. After leaving the continent, he returned to his native to take up a Sporting Director role at Oostende.
For almost a month, SAFA has been trying to appoint Molefi Ntseki’s replacement since his contract was terminated on the 31st of March. The 69-year-old Broos was the only foreigner out of the five short-listed candidates. Football analyst Phumuzho Manenzhe says a local coach is still the best option.
