Former Generations: The Legacy Actor Mahlubi Kraai dies
The sad news of the passing away of former Generations firebrand Mahlubi Kraai has left Mzansi in shock. No doubt he was a jack of all trades and master of all. He was an seasoned actor, director, choreographer, dancer and singer.
However the family of star actor has since confirmed the untimely death of Kraai. In the wake of the conformation, messages of condolences have since flooded social media platforms. It was confirmed that he died in Rustenburg, North West.
However we are yet to confirm Mahlubi Kraai’s cause of death as no health issues, accident or other causes of death have been learned to be associated with the passing.
His death has caused a lot of friends and family of Kraai so much hurt. It is in that mourning spirit that the concerned persons have taken to social media to share tributes to the deceased and condolences to the affected family.

Just like those before him his thrust to limelight was through theatre. He made a name for himself in the theatre circles which saw him having big-money moves into the acting industry.
The producer and director was involved in theatre productions as early as 1992. He later persued for a national diploma in drama at Pretoria Technikon from 1995 to 1997. However his thrust into the acting limelight came in 2000 when he bagged a role of Pitso Masalesa in Orlando.
He later won big when he scored some big gig on hit soapies such as Generations, Ke Nako, Isidingo, Soul City, Rhythm City, Hillside and Snitch. These gigs made him one of the few seasoned actors to star in at least Mzansi’s most watched soapies. A few star actors like Connie Ferguson and Rapulana have managed to do that.
Mahlubi also performed in a number of theatre productions such as Sophiatown, Boesman and Lena, The Island, Tongues, Not With My Gun and PAST. Mahlubi’s fans are distressed by the news of his death and have been sending condolences to Mahlubi’s family and loved ones.
