“I am simply not entertaining such speculation,” Nelli Tembe’s brother eliminates confusion on suicide rumours
Nelli Tembe’s older brother Vukile Tembe emphasises that he is not entertaining suicide rumours surrounding his younger sister’s demise. Vukile strongly denies that his mother also committed suicide.

During Nelli’s funeral, Moses Tembe the father of the deceased clarified that his daughter did not take her own life. Vukile Tembe said his mother did not commit suicide during an interview with You Magazine.
“There are several rumours on social media that Nelli committed suicide. I am simply not entertaining them.” My mother did not commit suicide either. She got ill and passed away. The migraines people are referencing was a symbol of the illness she had,” he reported.
Vukile adds that his younger sister required extra attention more than her other siblings. He also adds that it was evident from an early age that she needed more nurturing.

“My father spoilt her. Anele had always needed more attention and as siblings we were okay with it because maybe she really needed it. Before she started her journey with her marriage it was my responsibility as an older brother to take care of her.”
“If she needed a new dress or money to do something, I would play a part in that,” Vukile adds.
However, despite Vukile’s clarification, the actual details of the cause of Nelli’s death are still unclear. AKA recently mentioned that he was praying to get closer to clarity. In his post the South African rapper seems to be in a dark place and is seeking answers on what really transpired.
The incident leading to Nelli Tembe’s death is still under investigation. The South African Police Services reports that there are no new developments as of yet. Detectives are following up on all leads and appropriate channels will be followed to get to the bottom of the issue.
