Meanwhile, on Friday, Natasha revealed she’s battling severe depression, as she’s mentally and physically ill due to her toxic working environment.
“I’m working in a TOXIC environment. It’s been affecting my mental & physical health. I AM NOT COPING!!!” she said.
“Working in a toxic environment and also having to deal with my physical health has been so difficult. I never ever thought a workspace would drive me into severe depression. I’ve been in and out of hospital for every week for the past 2 months,” the actress revealed.
However, of late several actresses have lashed out at showrunners when it comes to working conditions. In the wake of Thahane claims the River actress, Nokhuthula Mavuso has exposed the entertainment industry, for not be conducive to female artists.
Nokuthula Mavuso described women artists as overworked, undervalued and enslaved. She is one of the few actresses to point out the wage gap between female artists and their male counterparts and said working in that kind of environment is a waste of time and talent.
