Simz Ngema survives death by a whisker
Pregnancy is beautiful although child birth is one death sentence that women endure to get the ultimate prize. The postpartum body as well is one thing that makes women lose self confidence despite it being a reminder of a beautiful journey. Simz Ngema recently shares her pregnancy experience which almost sees her losing her life.
Sharing her story on Instagram, she narrates her ordeal and her weight loss journey:
Working out, drinking water, green tea and @young_again_aesthetic I might just reach my weight goal after all. Road to the 23rd of June. Thing about progress, it will motivate you. Almost skipped Monday. The way I hate green tea, I literally wait until it is cold and down it. Yes losing weight after pregnancy is difficult but when I look at my miracle baby, I am so grateful and I am reminded that God exists.

“It’s still so unbelievable that I carried a whole human being. I had the most difficult pregnancy ever! At some point I didn’t think we were gonna make it. I remember my dad saying, “They better get that baby out, before he kills my baby,” but God had us,” she adds.
Simz Ngema goes on to explain how child birth was an emotional roller coaster for her and her family.
“We cried so much. My mum was still crying in this pic. Mercy said No, I’m not gonna let you go.”
The actress welcomes her bundle of joy in July 2020 much to everyone’s surprise. Although masses did not approve of her relationship with Tino Chinyani, she deserves happiness after losing her husband a few years ago.
I’m a good person but my life has been very difficult. I often ask God why, and he always says if it was easy it wouldn’t be worth it. Everything I have is worth it so much more because of how difficult it was to get it,” she says.
