Four daughters claim their father’s snakes molest them to boost his fortunes
A man from Mutare is fighting with his four daughters who are accusing him of causing bad luck in their lives because his snakes molest them. The four women named Mary, Shylet, Tambudzai and Perseverance Tsoriyo assert that their father Raymond Tsoriyo uses charms to enhance his fortunes.
They further add that their father has some snakes which sexually abuse his daughters. According to the four sisters, the abuse from the snakes is so dreadful that they now put salt in their under garments as an alternative to protect themselves. The bitter women also said that the snakes have been around for almost forty years.
They have tried reporting the issue to the traditional courts but nothing has been done to solve the issue. These disturbing details were revealed at the Mutare Civil Courts. Raymond Tsoriyo dragged his daughters to court for abuse and harassment. However, things took another turn as the cat was let out of the bag revealing all his dirty secrets.
Raymond still seeks a protection order barring his daughters from his home. Mary and Shylet appeared in court in response to their father’s summons. The other two sisters Tambudzai and Perseverance are based outside of Zimbabwe hence could not make it.

In court the two present daughters counter their father’s summons. They claim that they only want their father to solve the issue of snakes. They also add that the matter is being investigated also by Chief Marange. Mary and Shylet also argue that once the matter is resolved by Chief Marange they will also appear before the magistrate.
The presiding magistrate Notebulgar Muchineripi directed the daughters to serve their father with their responding affidavit and adjourned the case.
After the case was reported to Chief Marange a traditional healer was summoned to assist the Tsotiyo family. Sekuru Chamunorwa Manyange carries a cleansing ceremony at the Tsoriyo home and discovered some alleged charms and paraphernalia associated with juju and the occult.
However, the father of the four daughters denies the claims and also declares that Sekuru Manyange is a fake traditional healer. He actually insists that Sekuru Manyange planted the paraphernalia at his home.
