Sibusiso Dlomo vs Jack Mabaso, which villain did it better in the evolution of Generations
Generations is one soapie that has stood the test of time and has carried along with it some characters we choose to never forget. It has unraveled stories on love, deceit, family bonds among other storylines which have sent viewers on an emotional voyage. However we take time to scrutinize the two villains who have graced our screens on the show as it evolved from Generations to Generations The Legacy.
Sibusiso Dlomo
What better storyline is there than one with villains to keep viewers on their toes? Sibusiso Dlomo, is one mogul who always had an evil plan. Married to Ntombi, the two were one of Mzansi’s favourite onscreen couples. Later on he discovers he has another son with an old lover and he falls back for his first love.
Sibusiso survived jail time, paralysis and still manages to conquer. He was probably one of the most feared villains in soapville. All things however come to an end as their journey is cut short when the show is revamped. Mzansi’s favourite characters on the show were all sacked and a new storyline brings about another villain worth noting.

Jack Mabaso
One is absolutely powerful if he can cheat death. Jack Mabaso on Generations The Legacy introduces a character of power, slick tricks, manipulation and desperation. The resourceful Jack Mabaso is the epitome of power and known for his ability to solve problems.
His love life is not filled with much romance as Sibusiso‘s and he does not really have a soft spot for family. Anyone who crosses him immediately suffers the consequences. Recently he kills his mother, making him the villain of all time.
From Generations to Generations The Legacy
The show continues to thrive since its inception in 1993. From the Paul Moroka era to Karabo moments to Sibusiso Dlomo days and now Jack Mabaso, Generations is still the talk of town. Following an outcry by sixteen actors over lowsy wages, the production team decides to revamp the show and sacks the complainants.
In a statement, the actors had this to say:
We live in a country that is notorious for artists living and dying in a state of poverty, tragically, never managing to earn what is their due, despite being associated with a number of successful projects.”
