Busiswa to share her spiritual journey on new reality show
In a conversation with Sowetan Live, the music revealing bits about how the show is impacting her life.
“I’m mostly nervous about letting people into my house because I’m big on energy. I love a good smelling, happy and clean house. I’m worried about it being chaotic every day because the crew is there every day. I’m also worried about the public having opinions about my house and space because I don’t need that. In my line of work people want to criticise everything. I will show that you can be a leader in your industry, a female who is taking up a lot of space; but also be a loving mother, sister, cousin and friend who is supportive to your loved one,You don’t have to be a beast and lonely at the top. So I think I’m going to show that perspective of being a top artist that a lot of people don’t see I’ve gotten to a place where I’m comfortable to share everything. I have accepted that my life will be in the public eye anyway and I will accept whatever that comes with. I live honestly, truthfully and positively. I look forward to sharing my truth, whereas over the years I have been reluctant to share anything. But I have learned that it’s more important to own my story. I have nothing to hide and I’m willing to let my fans into the next level that is my private and spiritual life”
Busiswa is one of the artists Beyonce collaborated with on her Black is King album, as well as Moonchild-sanelly.
