One can not talk about sports personalities in Mzansi without putting Mokoena in the equation. Mokoena and Pearl Thusi dated in the early 2000s and their relationship was not picture perfect. Their affair was marred with cheating allegations and Thusi was still finding her feet in the entertainment industry back then. They called it quits and the relationship went south after Thusi got pregnant.
Mokoena was a sports presenter on SABC’s soccers shows. Currently, the now soft-spoken sports gaffer is a special advisor to the South African Ministry of Sport, Arts and Culture.
Quinton Jones
Little is known about the two and their affair. However at some point a few years ago rumours had it that the two were dating. Neither Thusi nor Jonas accepts or denied the allegations which flooded all over social media. Currently, the former American football player is married to Minnie Jones.
Robert Marawa
The affair of the then celebrated Super Sports presenter Robert Marawa made all sorts of headlines in Mzansi. The two had their entanglement in 2016 and it got Mzansi talking. However, their affair hit a dead end when Marawa took it to social media to announce their split.
Serge Ibaka
Despite being rumoured to be in an affair with Kerri Hillson, Serge Ibaka was involved in an affair with Thusi. Last year the two made headlines after they were spotted together during NBA games. The Congolese-Spanish NBA player Ibaka plays for Toronto Raptors. Their alleged affair started making rounds on social media and news outlets back then in 2018. Neither Ibaka nor Thusi has confirmed the relationship.
