She left Mzansi in the wake of her success on our small screens. We can all agree that Skeem Saam hasn’t been the same without her. The vivacious actress called it quits after she experienced a tragic accident which claimed her lavish house and her newborn baby.
After all, it’s now in the past the much wait is over at last. Former Skeem Saam actress, Mona Monyane is coming back to TV! Monyane took to Twitter to express how thrilled she was to be back on the small screen. Taking it to social media the celebrated actress hinted her much-awaited return.
Tiisetso Mona Monyane is a South African actress. She is best known for his roles in the popular television serials Muvhango, Skeem Saam and film Kalush.
In a series of cryptic messages, she had this to say.
“First TV in a minute. I’m excited. See you back on your screens in a few months. I’ll let you know the name of the production in time. Akere suspense nyana Dali? #2021.”

Monyane also reflected on the sacrifices women make daily in a series of tweets:
“As women we need to stop negotiating whether we deserve to put ourselves first, to not tolerate nonsense, to centre our happiness. The joy of the man you choose to love should not take priority over your own wellbeing. You are equally entitled to live your best life.
Men are nurturing, caring and gentle nature. Look at how they care for their cars, shoes and accessories. Look at how they care for their male friends. If they could simply redirect that same energy and commitment to their wives and children they would realise this too.”
Monyane took time off the TV after she went through the most difficult moments of her life after her house burned down and losing her newborn baby.
However little is known about her on-screen character of soapie she will be at. However, rumour has it that she has bagged a leading role in one of the upcoming new series. Another actor who has resurfaced from the blue is Moshidi after a long absence. The celebrated actress recently bagged a leading role at Isono.
