It’s time to kiss and makeup apparently for Rapper, Emtee.
Emtee took to social media last year to say he was being abused by his ex , Nicole Kendall Ndevu. The rapper says he suffered physical abuse at the hands of Nicole, her mother and her brother. Emtee and Nicole had been together from before his music career took off and they have two children together. He says their problems escalated when he wasn’t making a lot of money and soon the abuse turned physical. Emtee took to social media advising many on how to handle abusive circumstances. The musician hasn’t had the best of luck in recent years. Other than the abuse as he was also into substance abuse which also caused problems in his relationship and problems with his record label.. Emtee has since apologised to Nicole and is ready to give their relationship another shot.
“I’d like to apologise to the mother of my children, my wife Nicole. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me. I love you Mrs Ndevu,” the musician wrote in a statement.
#PrayForEmtee became the trend with his fans rallying behind him and supporting him last year when the abuse allegations came out. Nicole denied the allegations. “Firstly the claim made by Mthemeni that I physically abuse him is completely false and is a fabrication designed to attack my character. I will no longer protect someone who is trying to destroy my llife by making false accusations about me. This is a latant attempt to tarnish my name my family’s name. The truth as to the core reason for the public fallout will be revealed,” she said. Emtee was also in a accident recently which he apparently survived by a whisker. The question on whether the pair will be able to resolve their issues is one for another day.
