Aka has finally signed a boxing match contract that will see him fight rival rapper Cassper Nyovest in the ring.
Aka revealed that the delay in signing the contract was caused by the lack of a financier to pay him his dues before the match.
Aka said he was not happy with just making R500,00 but he found someone who added R2 million more into his purse. By then, he said he expected the match to be finalised.

“It’s amazing how people can suddenly turn into tough guys when history and experience tells us otherwise. The time for talk is nearly over,” Aka Tweeted with a copy of the contract
Asked about how much Cassper would make from the fight, he said the Nokhuthula hitmaker will be restricted to gate takings.
“Here’s where we are, the contract hasn’t been signed by EITHER of us. Why? Because I had to go find someone to invest 2 MILLION because they wanted to pay me 500k. Now that I have my money we should be concluding soon,” said AKA.
The rapper was accused by Cassper Nyovest for backtracking and refusing to sign the contract. He, however, assured his fans the fight would eventually happen.
“I’m not doing too much talking. When it was time to fight and we asked for the contract to be signed, people were to busy focusing on their brand and their image. But rest assured … the fight WILL happen next year, make no mistake of that.”assper said
“Boxing negotiations take time. When I was training this past year he was eating magwinya (vetkoeks). Now we must all jump and scrabble into line … doesn’t work like that. The fight will happen next year. That’s all their is to say about that. Happy Holidays,” said AKA
