A few South African men went beyond the norm and surprised their friend whose wife is expecting to deliver with a baby shower, a move that gets opinions divided.
In what visibly a dull surprise party with a poorly done décor- which is not bad for men, the friends went all the way to celebrate the man behind the baby bump.
Credit to the team who had pictures taken with fake pregnancy bellies, a clear indication that on average men don’t know what’s done during baby showers, they could have used a few tips from their wives.

Great initiative if u ask me, it shows maturity and high level of responsibility from my gender! Those nappies and milk powders will come to handy in a time of need! That’s the whole idea I guess rather than pulling stunt in a tavern while your child doesn’t have any nappies
Many men are becoming too feminine and justify it with evolving times , as a men you must be attached to your natural frame and understand that some things are meant for women , there’s always a way to celebrate a new born ,but not this way
We can meet as majita have drinks and some braai plus gift… This things of balloons I personally think it’s unnecessary
Okay… Maybe the balloons and stuff is a bit too much. But as long as they enjoyed themselves. The meaning behind sends out a great message: We are in this with you, we support u, we are happy for you, as pals. To men: it shows support and responsibility to the ladies.
Place should be loaded with alcohol not these things. The baby will grow and drink eventually.
