Dawn Thandeka King, MaNgcobo Returns To Uzalo
Actress Dawn Thandeka King who portrays MaNgcobo is set to make a return to Uzalo this week.
In a teaser of this week’s episodes shared on Sunday, 1 November 2020, Nosipho (Nompilo Maphumulo) is asking about her mother’s disappearance with Nkunzi (Masoja Josiah Msiza), who had told her not to launch a police investigation in search of his estranged wife.

The video of the teaser then shows MaNgcobo working in a tuckshop away from home. From the look on her face, her boss seems to be getting on her nerves.

Rumours that the actress is on the brink of leaving Uzalo have been doing the rounds on social media for a while now. Uzalo fans were left to speculate that MaNgcobo would be killed off the show after the actress took a sudden break from the show.
The actress had denied the reports that she was leaving the SABC 1 show. She makes her first appearance in Uzalo in almost two months.

Dawn Thandeka King had her first acting gig in 2012 when she landed a role as a domestic worker in the telenovela iNkaba.
She studied Drama at Technikon Natal and starred in stage plays, including Peace in The Valley, which debuted at the Playhouse Theatre in 2000, directed by Jerry Pooe.
In 2017 appeared on the Mzansi Magic prison drama series Lockdown, as tough ringleader Ma Z.
