Isidingo’s Thulani Mtsweni Who Played Sibiya Joins Isibaya
As the mass exodus of actors continues on Isibaya,Thulani Mtsweni who played Sibiya on Isidingo joins Isibaya in a bid to revamp the cast. Thulani will play Mpihlangene Zungu, Mpiyakhe Zungu’s younger brother. Expect a sly, scheming, and manipulative guy with a very gifted tongue, and a master of words.
Despite the mass exodus at Isibaya apparently, Bomb Productions dont want go down without a fight. In the backdrop of the exit of seasoned actor Sdumo Mtshali the Bomb production has tagged along Thulani Mtsweni to revamp the cast.
Isidingo’s Thulani Mtsweni Who Played Sibiya Joins Isibaya
Thulani Mtsweni is well known for his role on Isidingo as Sibiya who was a tongue in cheek miner, and womanizer who always got into trouble. The star actor has also starred in Number and Rhythm City. The actor has mentioned in several interviews that he doesn’t mind being a calling-cast unlike other actors as he’s a hard worker and has a genuine love for the arts.
Expect him to get on the nerves of The Ndlovu’s who are the Zungus’s rivals on the show and to butt heads with his sister Mancwane Zungu. There’s been no word as to how long he will be on Isibaya for or if he will be replacing the shows leading actor; Siyabonga Thwala who plays Mpiyakhe ‘Mgijima’ Zungu.
The actor is apparently leaving for The Legacy and will be finished off so that his son Alex Zungu can live. If the show’s viewership ratings improve by early 2021, Isibaya might not get canceled. DSTV is well known for reviewing shows before renewing contracts every year. If Isibaya do not improve in viewership ratings it might be axed.
