Makandiwa Covid-9 Prophecy: United Family International Church leader Emmanuel Makandiwa popularly known as Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa claims to have prophesied about the Covid-19 pandemic. There is a video circulating on social media reportedly recorded on 20 November 2016.
In the video, Makandiwa is heard revealing that the disease is going to come from the sea. He also says that there is an unknown animal that lives in the sea that will cause the illness and kill thousands if not millions or billions off people across the globe.
I have been praying about it and you are praying. You will have another disease and more deadly. I saw it coming from the sea. They will investigate it and realise it came from the sea. More deadly that HIV and cancer. Very fast and aggressive. How they are going to bring it out of the sea i don’t know. Is it a weed, is it a creature in the ocean. Is it food from the sea? Scientists and researcher have not yet found the cause of corona virus but they are certain of the place it started. Covid-19 started in Wuhan City in the province of Hubei in China. The first cases were all linked to a wet market in Wuhan. The first cases had all visited Wuhan market were animals are sold. The market is called by that name because it sell food from the sea.
Makandiwa Covid-19 prophecy: From an animal
Coronaviruses are zoonotic diseases, meaning they jump from animals to humans. There are other corona viruses before COVID-19 that were not this deadly.
From the Sea? Yes Makandiwa is right
The Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan is believed to be the point where the pandemic COVID-19 started. The market was destroyed in January among other small markets in the area.

Work in progress
Researchers are still working to identify the actual animal that acted as a carrier to the disease. It might not have came from the sea as Makandiwa claims, but maybe from an animal that lives on land. Only time will tell if ‘Makandiwa’ is to come to pass.
Makandiwa prophecy track record
Makandiwa has a track record of fulfilled prophecies. He prophesied about the Zimbabwe coup that happened in November 2017 among other prophecies.
Sunday Mail editor accused of promoting Makandiwa Covid-19 prophecy
The Sunday Mail editor has been accused of promoting Emmanuel Makandiwa. The editor attends Makandiwa’s UFIC church. A story with the title: Prophet Makandiwa foretold coronavirus was printed on 22 March 2020. The story did not go well with Zimbabweans asking the publication not to divert attention from the researches currently being carried out to defeat corona virus.
Permanant Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Nick Mangwana assured promoting certain stories based on personal preferences won’t happen again.
