Early Life
Donald grew up in Rusternburg, South Africa in a christian family. He started singing in the church choir at the age of 8 years. He also sang during school events.

In 2011 he opened his D-Exclusive record label and dropped his second album ‘Train of Love” which was successful . The album included tracks like the hit ‘I deserve’, ‘Denial and ‘Over the moon’. As a result of the success of ‘Train of Love’, Donald was the most nominated artist at the 2013 Metro FM Music Awards. The album was a reflection on Donald’s past love experiences; both good and bad. In 2020 Donald released a single titled ‘Thixo and is expected to drop videos for tracks from “her name is”. Through out his career Donald has worked with artists such as Kelly Khumalo, Dream Team and Bucie.
