Apostle Chiwenga In Norton Car Accident
Controversial Harare based preacher Talent Chiwenga popularly known as Apostle Chiwenga involved in a car accident.
The car accident in Norton, comes two days after Chiwenga made a public statement that state agents want to abduct and murder him.
In a video posted on his official Facebook page on July 11, Chiwenga who leads Jesus Revelation Ministries said he had unearthed a State Sanctioned Criminal Military Operation To Abduct and Murder him.
On Tuesday, two days after Chiwenga made the public statement, there was news that he had been involved in a car accident together with two other members of his church.
Chiwenga’s top aide confirmed the accident and said the preacher and the other two church members were in a stable condition according to their own assessments but were waiting for an official assessment by health professionals.
He urged Zimbabweans to keep praying for the Jesus Revelation Ministries church leader and the two members.
This is not the first time Apostle Chiwenga has been involved in a car accident after claiming he was being followed.
Last year, he was involved in a horrific accident that reportedly claimed the lives of three people. Chiwenga’s wife was reported to be among the deceased.
Chiwenga who is a cousin to Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has established a reputation of attacking almost every prominent church, religious leader and politician in the country.
Before the accident the preacher said he had written to President Emmerson Mnangagwa begging for a meeting claiming that his life was in danger as he was being followed by alleged Military Intelligence Department (MID) and Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) operatives.
In 2018, Chiwenga was publicly threatened by his cousin, the Vice President who warned him to stop talking about senior government officials in his sermons.
