Zimbabwe Deputy Minister of Defence Victor Matemadanda says the Unites States of America is planning to spray Covid-19 in Zimbabwe during the Anti government protests planned by opposition parties on 31 July.
Speaking to his Zanu PF party information department, Matemadanda revealed what he called the plan by regime change agents hiding behind the anti government protests. He believes the Western countries want to infect Zimbabweans with Covid-19 disease and blame the government for not being proactive and also to use Zimbabweans as guinea pigs for testing Covid-19 vaccines and medicines.
“They hope to spread covid to Zimbabweans through spraying. The demonstrators have been given USD 300,000 to sustain the demonstrations. They are not concerned by the ordinary people. They want to see how the government will react to demonstrators. Human rights groups are encouraging citizens to break the law.”

“What is important is to tell Zimbabweans that it is about their own safety. They are trying to use Zimbabweans to infect them with coronavirus and blame the government for not being proactive. They want to make them guinea pigs. Those who are going to demonstrate are going to be dealt with by law enforcement agents. We are first going to make sure we protect our people and ensure there is observance of the law,” the deputy minister said.

Matemadanda further went on to warn demonstrators that systems are in place to thwart demonstrations.
Earlier this year Zimbabwe’s Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri claimed God was punishing the the whites with Covid-19 for putting Zimbabwe under sanctions. Muchinguri said, “All these coronavirus issues they are facing are their own sanctions as God is punishing them for sanctioning us. President Mnangagwa had to release a statement to correct his minister’s mistake.
