Zimbabwe Health Minister Obadiah Moyo has been fired by President ED Mnangagwa.
Obadiah Moyo, who was once arrested, has a case to answer over corruption allegations levied against him by the state.
The under fire former Minister is accused of selecting Covid-19 equipment suppliers without following proper procedures and also using his position to influence national pharmaceutical company NatPham to award tenders to his associates.

Please be advised that His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde E D Mnangagwa, has in terms of section 340. subsection (1), paragraph (f), as read with section 104, subsection (1) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe has removed Dr Obediah Moyo from the office of Cabinet Minister with immediate effect for conduct inappropriate for a Government Minister.
