Nelson Chamisa holds online rally. MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa is set to hold an online rally. This comes at a time when public gatherings are limited to 50 individuals. Political gatherings remain banned under the current lockdown rules in Zimbabwe.
According to a notice on the MDC Alliance official Twitter account, the e-rally will be held on Sunday 5 July.
The e-rally which will be held under the theme “Fight for Better Livelihoods”, will start at 1400hrs.
The keynote address will be at 1500hrs by President Nelson Chamisa
MDC Alliance supporters can follow the rally on the party’s official social media pages.
Chamisa’s online rally comes at a time when MDC-T leader Thokosani Khupe has started recalling councillor’s from the Nelson Chamisa led MDC Alliance.
Khupe was only recalling MDC Alliance legislators. The recalling of councillors comes at a time when Khupe recalled 8 MDC Alliance Senators on Wednesday.

Musa Mabika a leader in the MDC Alliance Epworth Branch told Zim Morning Post that the three councillors Batanai Masunda, Gift July and Joshua Chinonyengerwa have chosen to side with the losing Presidential Candidate Thokozani Khupe of the MDC-T.
Of late MDC Alliance members have been abducted with one of the officials turning up dead.
