Zimbabwe’s second largest cellular network Netone has notified its customers that their mobile money platform One Money is operating normally despite the mobile money transfer services banned.
The announcement follows the one made by Ecocash which assured its cstomers that the Ecocash platform will remain in operation until their regulator RBZ advise them otherwise.

The assurance by mobile money operators comes after the Information Ministry Secretary Nick Mangwana announced the banning of Ecocash, One Wallet and all other mobile money platforms.
Part of the communique by One Money read, “Dear Valued Customer, We would like to advise that OneMoney services are still operating normally. Do not hesitate to contact us on the numbers provided below, for any queries and enquiries. OneMoney, it’s One time.”
