Kaizer Chiefs fans were left all smiles on Wednesday this week after their team walked off the Athlone Stadium grass victorious. The team had been facing 10-man Stellenbosch FC and finished them off 2-0, much to the elation of thousands of black and yellow supporters. One of those supporters appears to be South African mega star Bonang Matheba.
Heading online, the media personality celebrated the team’s win and left her followers feeling proud that she is a fan. Earlier this year, Bonang made it clear that she is a Kaizer Chiefs super fan after she expressed her shock at Molefi Ntseki replacing Arthur Zwane as the team’s new head coach.
“Kaizer Chiefs are pleased to formally announce the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the new Head Coach of the first team, effective immediately,” read a tweet from the team’s official account.
Reacting to the news, Bonang simply wrote, “Bathong,” leaving other KC fans in the comments section to share their thoughts on the change. It looks like that is all water under the bridge for the TV and radio personality who just headed to X — formerly Twitter — to celebrate the team’s DStv Premiership victory over Stellenbosch.

Her many fans took to the comment section to celebrate the team’s victory with her. Many of them shared how they will be resting wonderfully knowing that their team is doing so well.
“Yes babe girl, we sleep peacefully tonight,” one person said while another added: “Love it for us.”
