Sunday World reported that the SABC was willing to pay R480,000 per month to bring him back, but the broadcaster denied this claim. The SABC stated that their GCEO does not get involved in line-up negotiations and that they do not pay car allowances or other fringe benefits to freelancers.

Tbo Touch’s return to Metro FM was confirmed with the announcement of the new radio line-up. The station expressed their excitement about having him back and announced his new afternoon drive show, “The Touchdown with Tbo Touch.” The show will air weekdays from 3pm to 6pm and promises to be high energy, fast-paced, and engaging.
