Fans of SABC1’s soapie Skeem Saam will be happy to know that the show’s most-hated character Mr Kgomo (Lebogang Oliphant) will finally get fired in July. The TVSA Skeem Saam July teasers reveal that Mr Kgomo will not return to Turfloop Hospital as a superintendent, when he gets fired by the board.
The Walk of Shame
The teasers also reveal that he will get dismissed next Tuesday, 4 July as the teaser reads: “Mr Kgomo is humiliated beyond words when he endures a walk of shame.” The Wednesday, 5 July and 14 July teasers also indicates that Turfloopers will be happy to learn about his verdict and that his wife will file for divorce.
The Ripple Effect
Friday, 14 July teaser reads: ” Mr Kgomo and Mrs Kgomo’s divorce has a rippling effect on Pax.” The July teasers also reveal that the board may demand him to pay back the R80 000 that he stole from the hospital. The Friday, 21 July teaser reveals: “Mr Kgomo is told to pay up or else.” Dr Hlongwane revealed at his hearing this week that he deposited R80 000 into his account, which was meant for the suppliers, who haven’t been paid for three months.

Rathebe Commits Suicide?
The teasers also reveal that Rathebe (played Gontse Ntshegang) might commit suicide after Pitsi got shot by his gun on Tuesday, 27 June episode. The Friday 7 July teaser also reveals that Alfred (Putla Sehlapelo) will be a suspect after another person commits suicide: “There’s another suicide in Turf and a high school principal is suspected.” Though the teaser doesn’t mention names, we can speculate that Rathebe [Alfred’s girlfriend] will be the second Turflooper to end her life after Alfios, who used to work with Alfred.
Babeile (played by Mathews Manamela) suspected Rathebe of being a serial killer in Turfloop after Dragon and Alfios died and Bushang and his cousin found her hidden treasure (gun). The Wednesday, 28 June teaser reveals that Pitsi’s life will hang in the balance and Rathebe might confess to being the shooter. “A young boy’s life hangs on the balance and everyone is shocked to the core when the shooter confesses. Lovers turn on each other when things get heated in the interrogation room.”
The teasers also indicate that both Alfred and Rathebe will get interrogated over the shooting and Rathebe will bay for Alfred’s blood.
