Mphowabadimo shared the news of her second son’s birth on May 28th through an Instagram story and has since opened up about her experiences with pregnancy and motherhood. In a diary entry on her YouTube channel, the winner of Big Brother Mzansi season 3 recounted her struggles with sickness during her first trimester and feelings of isolation before returning to her family home and enlisting the help of a doula for support.
“Mphowabadimo revealed that the beginning of her pregnancy was not an easy or joyous time. ‘But coming home was the best decision because it allowed me to focus on my pregnancy and my baby, and that’s when I started to see things differently,’ she said. Mphowabadimo also shared that she experienced a lot of stress during her first trimester and was concerned about the possibility of a premature birth. ‘There were many moments when I thought I might have a premature delivery due to the stress I endured during the first trimester. It was a difficult time for me.’
Mphowabadimo expressed her gratitude for a safe delivery and her enjoyment of motherhood.
‘Each pregnancy has taken me on its own unique journey. This pregnancy, in particular, brought a lot of personal growth. I went through many experiences that have shaped me into the woman I am today. Motherhood is priceless, and I cherish every moment.’
Despite having two children with different fathers, Mphowabadimo is determined to raise them with happiness.
‘I don’t want to raise my children as a broken parent. I want to raise them as the happy, healthy, free, and strong woman that I am. I am not a single mother; I am a boy mom to two amazing boys.’
Mphowabadimo is considering treating herself to a Brazilian butt lift as a reward for her pregnancy.
‘I don’t see myself having the time to work out and I’m not a fitness enthusiast. So my immediate thought was that I deserve a mommy makeover. That’s my push gift. I feel like I deserve a BBL. I didn’t gain much weight and didn’t lose much either, but why can’t I look like a dream?’
