Veteran actor Sello Maake KaNcube says the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial shatters him. The soccer star was shot dead at home in Vosloorus in October 2014. Five men accused of his murder are before the Pretoria high court. This week a witness requested a media blackout before testifying. Taking to Twitter, the seasoned actor expressed pain at how proceedings were unfolding.
“What is happening with this Senzo Meyiwa matter is so heartbreaking. I know the pain of losing a son and the hurt is no child’s play! These people are proving to be so heartless … This is truly annoying what these people are doing to this family!” he said, speaking of the witness’s objection to testifying before TV cameras.
He added that it was “the worst form of injustice”.
In a separate post, he reminded tweeps of the Meyiwa family’s plight and called for justice.
