Leleti Khumalo-Sarafina
We can never mention South Africa’s A-list actress without mentioning Leleti Khumalo. She endeared herself to millions of fans through her roles as Sarafina in the American documentary movie Sarafina and Voices of Sarafina. Leleti is a South African actress and producer, born on 30 March 1970. The award-winning Veteran actress rose to prominence when she acted Sarafina in1992. However, the actress featured in some other tv shows like Free State, Hotel Rwanda, Uzalo and currently Imbewu the Seed, to mention a few.

Connie Chiume –Zone 14
The entrainment star Connie, born on 5 June 1952, started acting two decades ago. She rose to a household name when she played the role of Ma’am Stella Moloi on the SABC1 Drama series Zone14. Connie won a golden award after she nailed the role of Stella Moloi. The South African actress featured in Hollywood films Black Panther, black is King and Blessers. Currently, she is making waves in the Mzansi Magic soapy Gomora.

Bonang Matheba- SABC1 Music Show LIVE
Popularly known as Queen B, Bonang Matheba has garnered fame through her exploits as an actress, model, television host, producer and businesswoman. A native of Mahikeg, North West province of South Africa. Bonang was the first black South African woman to feature in several international magazines. As a television host has served as a presenter at high prole awards shows and other tv shows.

Nomzamo Mbatha- Isibaya
Born in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa, Nomzamo Mbatha is undoubtedly one of the famous actresses. She started her career in 2012 starring in the tv series Isibaya where she later became the main character. She also starred in SABC’s Holiday Swap, The Jakes Are Missing (2015)and All About Love(2017). Asides from acting, Nomzamo is also a businesswoman and human rights activist.
Pearl Thusi- The No.1 Ladies detective agency
Pearl Thusi is one of the most beloved celebrities in South Africa. The fast-rising actress is also a model, tv and radio personality. She is best known for playing the character of Patricia Kopong in the BBC comedy-drama series, The No.1 Ladies detective agency in 2009. Thusi also cast in the lead role of Queen Sono on the Netflix crime drama series Queen Sono.
Moshidi Motshegwa-Zero Tolerance
Moshidi is a famous South African actress best known for her leading role as Denzela Ledwaba in the SABC police drama series Zero Tolerance from 2003- 2006. She is also well known for playing the role of Florence Nxumalo in the 2004 feature film Drum with Taye Diggs.
